Tahoe 2012 – Greg, Kim, Mike, Steve, Susan
Recovering from the late discovery that the Tahoe Marathon Relay had been CANCELLED for this year, Team Ladera moved on to individual races yesterday, with great success.
Kim Turner won an age group (35-39) lst in the FULL Marathon with a time of 4:17:27. She also won a top 25 ranking overall.
Greg Wood placed 20th of 473 in the HALF Marathon and an age group (50-54) 4th with a time of 1:43:49
Steve Corbato placed 89 of 473 in the HALF Marathon and an age group (50-54) 5th with a time of 2:00:48
Susan Warner was 93 of 372 in the 10K and an age group (50-54) 6th with a time of 58:38.
Mike Roberts was 195 of 473 in the HALF Marathon and an age group (75-79) lst with a time of 2:23:19.
A grand time was had by all, and support from family members Christine, Madalyn, and Anna Wood, Char and Harry Turner, and Lennie Roberts was superb.
The weather was terrific as the finishing picture shows!
